A "WELLINGTON CLAIM. A statement was circulated recently in connection with the Dominion Bowling Association's tournament to bo hold in I Auckland next week that Auckland -has "established a record (in entries) for any Dominion tournament." Tlio statement then goes on to detail the entries as follow For the singles, 138; for the pairs, 132; and for the rinks, SG; total, 334. . . . Tho above statement is said to be incorrect. For the Dominion Bowling Association's tournament held in "Wellington in January, 11)17, there were 210 entries for the singles, 208 entries for tho pairs, and 136 entries for the rinks; in all, 551 entries, or 200 more than has been claim-, ed by Auckland as a record.
