Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, reiwrt Having a very good entry of both sheep and cattle at their Palmerslon North sale on Thursday, when practically all lines offered changed hands. Quotations:—Sheep: Empty ercee, 205.; cull hoggets, 13s. to 13b. 6d.; small hoggets, to 19.?. u d.; fair hoggets, Ms. 6d,; fat ewes, £2. Cattle: Yearling heifers, £5 55.; yearling S.H. heifers, £7; yearling Jersey heifers, £& 195.; mixed yearlings, £4 sb. to £4 15b.; dairy heifers, £12; ompty cows, £8 12s. bd., £9 63., to £9 15s. Messrs. Abraham and Williams. Ltd., report:—At Levin, on Tuesday, we had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle, which met with a good demand, and most lines changed hands at late rates. Fat wethers (shorn), 335. 3d.; fat ewes (shorn), 295. 7d.; fat woolly ewes, ,345.; fat hoggets, Ms.; ewes and lambs, 325.; empty cows, £4 125., £6 175., to £8 7s. 6d.; yearling, steers, £3 Iβ., £3 11s., to £5 35.: mixed yearlings, £2 Is. to £4»155.; pork pi«?s, £3 165.. £3. 19s. to £4: store pigs, 30s. 3d.
