SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
1 A very excellent concert was provided for the seafarers by Miss May Dimock, who was hostess at the Sailors : Friend Society on Thursday. The performers were:—Mrs. B. J. Child and i.tlic Misses, M., Troupe, Peggy Jones, Stella Cliiiburg, May Dimock, and ■E. A. Bonnets, and Messrs. T. h. Jones, V. James, and H. Knowlos. Mr. H. Knowles was at the piano. Mr. Moore, missioner, ' announced that arrangements were again being made for the men's enjoyment on Labour Day. Prizes in the competitions came from ■Mrs. Hamilton and a 'friend.
