An article iu the "Westfaliche Zeitung" bitterly complains of the impotence of tlio Austio-Hungarian Government to stem the rising tide of tlio Czecho-Slovak demands, aiid gives illuminating glimpses of tbo internal situation in Austria. Tbo article alleges ' that the Czechs in Bohemia are "openly and haughtily pursuing plans for tbo establishment of an independent Czech State, and thut sinco the British and American Governments recognised the Czechs' independence this agitation has risen to unprecedented heights'Aiid, proceeds with such impudence that the Austrian Government dares iiot' r tako action against these- traitors." The paper declares that tlio traitors frankly say that the Czech State is only a. question of weeks or months.
