SAILORS FRIEND SOCIETY
A .concert was given by Mrs. James Hislop at the Sailors' Friend Society on Thursday evening. The nerformers were Mcsdnmes J. Hislop and P.. Douglas, and the Misses Edith Adams, Edith . M'Eldownev, Marion Thomson, N. Ronnie, and Mr. Green. Mrs. Douglas and Miss Thomson were at the ninno. Mr. Moore, missioner, spoke on "Safety First." and urged men to help themselves and the nation hv abstinence. The prize in the competition came from a 90-year-old admirer of the work.
