CAMP NOTES

The cup presented by the Camp Commandant at Featherston for the bestkept huts and lilies has .been awarded to the Forty-fourth Specialist Company for tho week ending July 3, with tho Forty-seventh Specialist Company second. The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston:—Corpl. H. C. Johnson, C Coy., CI, to be temporary sergeant; Dvr. O. K. George, P.E.A.S.C; to bo corporal; Corpl. W. E. Worsfold, Fortieth Specls., to bo temporary sergeant; Lee.-Corpl. V. H. Ambler, Fortieth Specialists, to be temporary corporal; Pte. A. H. Lawrenson, Fortieth Specialists, to be temporary lance-cor-poral; Pte. N. A. Soppet, I'ortieth Specialists, to bo temporary lance-corpornl; Corpls. W. C. Neal, H. 11. Small, Fortyseventh, N.Z.F.A., to ho temporary sergeants; Gnr. H. Clny, Forty-seventh, N.Z.F.A., to be temporary bombardier; Gnr. H.
