WEATHER STILL UNSETTLED
"Teniperature milder, with a falling barometer everywhere," is the somewhat doleful note struck by (be Government Meteorologist in his weather forecast. Present indications, according to Mr. Bates, are for strong south to nortbwesterlv winds northwards of N«\v Plymouth 'and Citstlepoint, and sqmiliy westerlies elsewhere. Increasing cloudiness is to be expected in the northern and East Coast districts, rain following soon on the western and southern parte of tho South Island.
