A euggcetion was contained in a messago in tho cable news yesterdaj that there is some trouble about- the control of the Now Zealand Ked C 10.55 in Eng-aTh'e-Minister of Defence, referring to the matter yesterday, said that some changes were boihg made in the control of the New Zealand Bed Cross at Homo The War Contingent Association had been doing a certain amount of Iteu Cro<e work, but now it was deemed advisable that the Red Cross hero, and 111 England should carry out their own woHc, and that, the War Contingent Association should devote .their energies to fit men. With this an view the Bed ■Cross has been reorganised in, Lnglaiid, several members of. the executive of the War Contingent Association having been taken on to the new y-iormed executive of the New Zealand lied Cross, lhe Minister .aid that ho believed that there wm wmc difference of omnion about the election of a chairman of this new body, Bβ had no doubt that the d.lhculty would be settled satisfactorily.
