.There is a very heavy flood in Masterton. Tho Waipoua.Eiver broke,through at Masterton at\a lato hour last night, flooding a big proportion of the business centre. The dnniage cannot be yet estimated, but it is considerable. .-The firebell Was-rung at 1 a.m. this morning to warn the people of the danger. There are hundreds "of. people in. thp streets rendering assistance, whore needed. The present is the largest flood experienced in Mnsterton 6iuce 188' i.
