Petroflrad, May 7.' Ihe revolt ngainst the German domination in the 'Ukraine is so strong that the Uflda lias even lost the support of the bourgeoisie. • Tho anti-German feeling has .shown itself in tho difficulties nttonding the collection of corn. Small bands of revolutionaries Imvo seized whole trains loaded with corn going to Germany by means of sporadic peasant risings, which make it unsafe for tho Germans to move, except in considerable numbers. The Germans'who established tho Pro-German Government in the Ukraine categorically refuse to stop the military operations there. It is announced that the Germans have disarmed the Ukrainian divisions. A great portion of tho lilack Sea Fleet has returned to Odessa, and has now been placed at the disposal of tl'e Pro-German Ukrainian Government.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.

Mr. Harold Williams, formerly a correspondent at Petrograd, in an article in tho "Daily Chronicle," says that from what he knows of the personnel of tho new Ukraine Government it is distinctly anti-German, and is trying to make, tho best of a bad job. He eays that Skoropadski is a soldier, wholly innocent of politics. Tho new Premier, Vasilenko, is a Cadot convinced of the necessity of union '<! with Russia.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. SKOROPADSKI "ISSUES A MANIFESTO PROCLAIMS HIMSELF HE'fflAN OF THE UKRAINE. (Rec. May 8, 7 p.m.) Berne, 7. M. Skoropadski has issued a manifesto proclaiming himself Hetnian of all the Ukraine. Ho states: "The Contral Powers will continue to fight for tho security of the Ukraino." The security manifesto dissolves the Radn and tho Peasant Committees, annuls all the Rada's and Russian decrees, and dismisses all Ministers and Under-Secretaries.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. (Rcc.
