Amongst the musical numbers that, were exceptionally well rendered may be eiiumerateu tne overture from "William Tell,", the ever-popular ••What Do you to Make -those Eyes at, Me 1'or?" and "If You Wore a Timp and i Wore a Bis Jted Hose." His rendition ol "Sympathy" on the Celeste bells was delightful. Mr. "C." and his vivacious partner. Miss Maud Courteuay, gave a very amusing quarter of un hour's entertainment, and the rest of a first-class bill proviilod many acceptable interludes iu the eveniug's diversion. • QUEEN'S THEATRE. To-day and to-morrow are the lasl occasions of the Bcreemug of "iter Circatest Love," with Miss T'lieda ilara in the star role. The opportunity ol seeing this favourite screen artiste in one o! her most important impersonations should not be missed. Some excellent, items are to he found in the supporting programme, amongst which is a fine "travelogue taken ■on the Columbia River. The usual popular prices are being charged. FISK, JUBILEE SINGERS. The Fisk Jubilee Singers, who will open at the Concert Chamber on Saturday, have earned a world-wide reputation, because of the unique character of their entertainment, which charms by its novelty in method and the quaint, sweet music of the old plantation songs, which haunt the memory for long after they have been heard. A deep religious fervour breathcß through many of the melodies, but Hie coons are n simule-heartcd, joyous folk, whose broad humour is always near the surface and never long restrained even on serious occasions. Their Excellencies the Governor-Ueucrul, the Countess of Liverpool and suito will attend the opening concert, and the box plan is at the Bristol. KING'S THEATRE. Mrs. Vernon Castlo is the leading actress in "Sylvia of the Secret Service,, the feature now screening at the Kings Theatre. In addition to this feature is shown the ninth instalment of Inc Neglected Wife." On Saturday Alma Rubens and Walt. Whitman will be seen in "The Regenerates." EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. "Flying Colours," the Triangle drama now being screened at Everybody's Theatre, is remarkable for the wonderful athletic feats performed by William Desmond. Mary M'lvor has a role that suits her perfectly. On Saturday Corinne Griffith will be seen in a Vitagraph Blue Ribbon feature, "I Will Repay." EMPRESS THEATRE. In "The Gilded Cage," now screening at the Empress Theatre, the leading roles aro taken by Alice'Brady, Montague Love and Irving Cnmmings. The costume settings and dressing of tho pin- arc particularly good, and another feature is the scenic beauties shown.
