The Jtcw Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report: At Ifangiotu, on Monday, we had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle, and also offered a herd ol dairy cows on account of Mr. Fred, iwans. Cattle made late vjjluqs: sheop tailed to soil. Dairy cows, on account Mr. Evans—These wero a particularly good lot, and met with Keen competition, the herd averaging £16 10s. Best prices were: £19 10s., £20, £21 55., £22 10s. . Bidding waß fairly animated, and practically a total clearance was made under the hammer as follows:—M.S. two-tooths, 265. 6d.; light fat ewes, 245. 9d.; aged empty ewes, 15s. 6d.; medium shorn lambs, 14s. 3d.: small do., 7s. Bd.; forward cows, £8 55.; eighteen-month steers, £6 10b. The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operative Association, Ltd., stock ■ department,, Pahlotna, report on the undermentioned sales:— At Woodville, on Monday, a medium yarding of sheep and a good entry of cattlecame forward.
