DROWNING ACCIDENT

if By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, February 24. Alfred Henry M. Jones, a widower, iged 60 years, was drowned in Jlanukau Harbour to-day. He had taken a party in a launch to Waikowhai boach. Deceased was sitting in tho dinghy alongside the launch, when tha boat capsized as one of the guests stepped into it. The latter was rescued ' bv her husband, but deceased ,sank. Tho body was recovered. Deceased was on the railways.
