Present are for, northerly gales ..backing; -to -westerly in the nortliernmost districts and south-east winds, strong to gale,' elsewTiere;' Expect '. boisterous conditions and heavy rain generally, with flooded rivora, in many partß of the country. The barometer has a fairing tendency, but is likely to riso shortly. The' centre of a cyclone is now apparently located off tho West Coast of the North Island. Unsettled ' and w>t_ -weather has" overspread-the whole Dominion, with easterly and northerly- gales northward of East Oapo and Kawliia, and strong caßt to south-cast windß elsewhere. ' , • D. C.
