A REMARKABLE WILL
YOUNG OFFICER'S BEQUEST TOWARDS COST OF THE AVAR. Captain Konald Lindsay Johnson, R.F.A., of Woodleigh, Altrincham, Cheshire, who was killed in action on May 29, aged twenty-seven years, lias left property of tho valup of £16,263. Tho testator gives £100 Government stock to Eton College, and the samo amount to King's College, Cambridge. The remainder of such stock is bequeathed to the Postmaster-General as a contribution towards tho'cost of tho war. His shares in R. Johnson, Clapliam, and Morris, Limited, are left in trust for the employees or the institution of a co-operative or a co-partnership scheme, "so that even tiiose drawing the smallest wages may have an interest in tho firm. ,. Shares in the Electro Motors, Limited, are bequeathed to the children of his cousin, but the income is to bo.paid to the Post-master-General towards the cost of the war, during the continuance' thereof, and until twelve months after' peace has heen signed. Property in Adelaide, Australia, to such of his brothers and sisters or cousins as shall settle ini Australia, or be in the service of the Australian Government, nnd if at a period of five or eight years, as the ease may be, from the date of his death, none shall j qualify, then for the Adelaide UniverI sity or City of Adelaide, or the Gov- ] eminent of the Commonwealth, as the executors may direct.
