WELLINGTON HARBOUR BOARD
The Wellington Harbour Board met last evening. Mr. C. B. Daniels presided. It was reported that tho hank pass book showed accounts to be in the following positions Current account, credit balance, £26,791; imprest account, credit balance, £1723; on fixed doposit. £60,000. Payments were thorised as follow: —For accounts and wages, £38,511; for salaries for December £943. Total, £37,'155. It was resolved to nffix the seal of the board to an agreement with the Union Steam Ship Company re the use of s.s. Terawhiti as a fire float. The board also decided to grant a jenewal of a foreshore licence (boat shed, Evans Bay) to J. J. Boyd for a further term of 14 years.
