OTAGO V. WELLINGTON. The Auckland member? of the Now Zealand Adjudication Board, Messrs. Grierson, Miles, and Harvey, have given their decisions on the five unfinished games pf the above match, wine being awarded to Otago at Boards 7 and li and to Wellington at Boards 9, 10, and 13. The final score is thus Wellington Club 11 wins, Otago Club 3 wins—a result that greatly flatters the local representatives. On this occasion the play all went one way in the peculiar manner that-is experienced once in a while in nearly all sporting competitions. In reality the teams are well matched, and this je shown by the fact that Otago made a tetter showing than Wellington did against the invincible Canterbury players. (The Canterbury team beat Wellington l>y two points, and Otago by only one point.) The following is tl\e score of the recent match, a noticeable feature of which is the entire absence of drawn games:— OTAGO. WELLINGTON. I Cleland, R. A... oßarnes 1 Balk, 0 0 Mason, W.
