CHINA'S DESIRE TO ENTER THE WAR
A MATTER FOR THE PARIS COUNCIL. New York, December 9. The New York "Times" Washington correspondent reports that the Chinese Government has officially informed the Allies that China wishes to participate actively in the war, if provided with munitions and money. The Allies havo not yot replied to this offer, which has been submitted to tlio Paris Confer-ence.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
