MONTHLY MEETING

Forsyth were present at the monthly meeting of tlio Wellington Education Board held yesterday morniug. . The finance statement showed that the receipts since the last board meeting totalled £3419 ss._3d. The payments, amounted to £9708 Is. Id. Ihe general accounts for tho current moutli were £4465 15s. Id., were authorised for' payment. The cash-m-bank at November 10 was £3306 13s. 9d. Government grants now due amounted to £5356 16s. lOd. Under the heading of "maintenance of buildings it was shown that of tho Government grant of £9408, the expenditure to date had been £6960 J 2s. 6d. The estimated cost of works authorised up to October ,U, and not yot completed,'was' I(M4U os. 6d.
