Tho outstanding featuro of the elections is tho victory for the advocates of economy. Several Liberals who adhered to the Peacock Ministry have Vbeen defeated, and tlia outcome promises to be that the Ministry will find itself with only a.remnant o( its supporters, and a new leader will bs chosen from the members of. the new National Party.—Press Assn.
