NEW ZEALAND LADIES' GOLF UNION
. BED CROSS MATCHES. For the third year, clubs affiliated to the above association have held a series of matches in aid of the lied Cross Fund. The returns this season have not been quite as good as in the previous years, tlio amount realised to dato (November 15) being .£2lB 19s. In 1015 the amount collected was «£a39 Bs., and in 191G JC295 is. Gd. Thus, these clubs have raised a total of .£853 lis. lid. for the benefit of the soldiers, in addition to "a sum of w£92 10s., contributed, to a Serbian hospital in 1915, making a grand total of ;£9'l(S Is. There may be ono or two further small sums to come in this year, tho receipts of which will bo acknowledged in due course. The only expenses have been the cost of the medals used in the matches.
