At the yearling sales to-day tho top prico obtained was 1025 guineas for a bay colt by Martian-Grand Opera, tho property of Mr. J. F. Buchanan, of Kinloch, tho purchaser being Mr. H. M. Oampbell, of Hawke's Bay. A bay filly by MartianLovelorn also went to Mr. H. M. Campbell for 675 guineas, and a brown colt by Martian-Intelligence was sold to Messrs. V. and E. Riddiford, Wellington, for no guineas. Tho last two also came from Mr. J. F. Buchanan's stud. A bay colt fiy Solfcrlno-Rosalic was sold to Messrs. v. and E.
