FINE WEATHER
Tho weather in Wellington yesterday left nothing to bo desired. A light northerly had displaced the southerly of the previous day, tho air was much warmer, and a distinct foci of summer was perceptible. The rest of the country, according to the official report of tho Meteorological Office, has been cuunlly fortunate. Present indications are for variable breezes, southorliea prevailing, with fair to cloudy weather. The barometer has a rising tendonoy.
