THE BOYS' LEAGUE. A mooting of tlio committee was held Wednesday evening, Mr. F. Koss presiding. It was decided to start matches on Saturday, November 10, entries to close with the secretary on Wednesday next: So far entries havo been received as follow:— Senior: Institute (2), Thorndon, St. Cuthberts, Kilbiruio. Junior,: Institute (4), Thorndon, St. Cnthbcrts, St. Patrick's College (3), Y.M.C.A. (2), Brooklyn, St. Peters, Marist (2), Marist School. Messrs. A. E. O'Neill, G. T. Bolt, anct L. Barrett were elected a fixtures and grounds committee. It \ms decided that all subscriptions must be paid by November 15. Messrs. Eoss and Salmon were appointed a postponement committee with power to act when cadet parades wcro Bet down for any Saturday. The question of arranging games for boys under tho age of U years was discussed and left over until the secretary ascertains what grounds arc available. Representative games were discussed, and it was decided to elect selection committees at the nost meeting. No team of players is to be allowed to eo away in future without being under tho control of the committee. The matter of playing games at Porirua was favourably received, and it was decided to write to Mr. Windley and seo if n. dub be formed at Porirua. Matters arising out of tho rules and tho awarding of medals for averages, etc.. are to be dealt with at tho next meeting. The following will represent the East Club against Old Boys:—M'Girr, Bind, Baker, Eentou, 'Christophers™. Bock, Nash, Browman, Osborne, Walters, Hylton, Tlutchings. The North senior (earn to piny Trentham will be:—Mackie, Wilson, Hiddleston, Paterson, Tuckwell, Barker, Eaton, Wagslaff, Howitt, ' Windley, Burton; emergencies, Ward, Crombie. The following will represent Munitions and Supplies against Hutt, at Hutt, today:—M'Dougall, Vcnimore, Humphries, Johnston, Elliott, Boberts, Monk, Orr, Fitzgerald, Nolson, Sneddon; emergencies, Eoache, Taylor. The following will represent Old Boys seniors against East to-day:—Blacklock, Beechey, Tucker, Lambert, Morris, Hislop, Thomas, Jacobs, Binuie, Trott, and tiarrod.
