ON BEHALF OF SALVATION ARMY WORKS, ■
OVER £38,000 COLLECTED I

Commissioner Hodder presided, and in addition to the declaration of the various totals, tho reading of which was received with great applause; a first-class programme of musical 'items was rendered by the children of tho Wellington Girls' Home, the band, and the Songster Brigade. Around a central cross on 'the platform were grouped brilliantly-garbed representatives of the countries in which the Army is at work, and also the many places of the Army's work in New Zealand.
