MAN CUTS HIS THROAT. From Our Snecial Correspondent.) Masterton, October 2!i. Goorgo Thompson, a single man, cut his throat with a razor' at Featherston Camp to-day. An inquest will bo held by the District Coroner to-morrow.
A resident at Brooklyn, Edwin Thomas Bcavis, was found dead yesterday morning. Deceased was a single man, about 45 years of age, and a butcher by occupation. He resided at 52 Cleveland Street, Brooklyn, with his sister. The latter last saw her brothor alive at 10 o'clock on Thursday night, and at 11 o'clock yesterday morning found him in a sued with his throat cut. Ho had apparently boon dead for some time. There was a razor alongside the body. The usual inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death will be held.
