NEW BAYONET FIGHTING

Beginning from Monday next a new course of bayonet fighting instruction will be followed at Trontham Camp, and later on at other camps. Bayonet fighting is regarded as one of the most important attributes of a soldier, e.nd very full attention has always been paid to it in the training of the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces. Tho new scheme will, how•ov'er, be more comprehensive :han that previously followed. It will be earned out under the direction of Uaptain Brocks, an Imperial officer, who has had experience in tbe field and in British training camps.
