THE ATTACK ON THE CONVOY
A NAVAL INQUIRY TO BE HELD. London, October 22. In tho House of Commons, Commander Bellairs demanded an independent inquiry into the loss of the neutral convoy in tiio North Sea. He declared that the escort ivas obviously inadequate. ft. T. ,T. Macnnmara. Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty, replied ■ that the (Government was not prepared to hold such an inquiry, but a naval inquiry had been arranged—Renter.
