PROVINCIAL ASSOCIATION MEETING. The council of tho Wellington Provincial Lawn Tennis Association held a special general meeting on Wednesday. Mr. G. A. Hurley presided, and there were present:—Messrs. A. ~R. Kciandors {Mastrrton), W. M. Eggleton (Wellington), W. ,1. Melody (Lower Hull), C. Brown (Newtown). W. Bray (Newtown), M. Keaii (Greyfown), .E. Salmond (Thorndon), S. Roberts and 11. F. Inslono (Brougham Hill), and L. H. Areas (Lyall Bay). llr. W. J. Melody moved and it. was carried:—"That Rule 18 l>e amended to read:—'The officers of the association shall consist of a prasidont, (en vice-presi-dents, an honorary secretary, an honorary •match secretary, and an honorary treasurer.'" Tt was resolved on the motion of Mr. Salmond to reduce tlio capitation fee of members of city clubs from 2x. (id. to Is. fid. for the period of the war. Mr. G. A. Hurley moved that tho Annual subscription, payable by affiliated clubs bo not charged or recoverable for tho period of the war. Tho motion was lost.
