Beuter's special correspondent in East Africa, telegraphing on October 10, says he is now permitted to etate that the ■whole of Wintgen'a force, which was die. patched to the north on i\ guerilla T<aid some months ago, has. been captured. Three of the leaders, who took command after "Wintgen's surrender, have been taken prisoner. The force was strong and well equipped with machine-guns, ammunition, and supplies—Eeuter.
