James Hogg Cockcr. charged with drunkenness, was remanded for a "week for medical treatment. • , William Potter went to the Lanjbton Sta« tion on Friday, and asked to be locked up as he was not responsible lor his actions. On Sturday ho was. charged with being helplessly drunk in Larahton Quay, and W aß remanded for a- week for riedica-1 treatment. • ' A returned soldier, named fcaraucl v. Hunter, who had been .discharged from the forocs on %Scptember was charged with ■wearing tho King's uniform without Permission. Two first offenders were each, fined 10s.. in default 48 hours imprisonment. The rase against .lames M'lnerney, the miner who was railed in the seventh ballot and who it was alleged rould cot be fonnd, ■was withdrawn. M'lnerney had notified his change of abode and quite established his bona-fides.
