ARBITRATION ACT TO BE AMENDED .;- Sydney, October 5. The A'ctinz-Pmnier (Hon. Mr. Fnller) has announced that the Stale Government will immediately amend the Industrial Arbitration Act in the dijcction of widely increasing tho means of conciliation in future disputes. Tho Government has made a qrant of .£20,000 lo relieve distress caused by the strike.—Press Assn.
