IT is notified for the information of all wool-growers throughout New Zealand that, in accordance with instructions received from the Imperial Army Contracts Wool Department, London, all wool sent by growers to Government woolbrokera for valuation and purchase must be branded with the grower's mark on one end and on one side only of each bale. The aide on which the brand must be placed is one of the Hat sides-in othcr-.words; either of the sides of the hale not exposed when the doors of the press are open.' Letters and figures - appearing in the brand must not be less than three .inches in height. In any case where the branding of the wool has not been effected by the owner strictly in accordance: with these requirements the Government woolbroker to whom the wool is forwarded will correct the faulty, branding at the expense of the grower.
