POUND DROWNED. The military authorities at Somes Island yesterday morning noticed (lie body of an elderly man flouting in tlio wafer near, the island. The body was recovered and brought by the Janie Scddon fo the Clyde Quay Wharf, and transferred to tlie morgue. The body was Inter identified as that of Thomas Willia/vi Hall, a man 84 yeare of age. Deceased resided at Petone. and was last eeen alive, on the Petono Wharf at 11.30 a.m. yesterday by his eon-in-law.
