The head office of the (Union .Company advised on Friday that there is at present no prospect of a resumption of the interstate passenger service. ' The Komata is due here early this morning with coal to discharge at Miramar. The vessel will return to Wcstport to load again for Wellington. . The Kamona will leave Greymouth tonight with a load of coal for Wellington. The Kini arrived at Greymouth yesterday from' Lyttelton, and will to-day commence loading coal for Wellington, where she iB due on Wednesday. . Captain J. Rankine, ot the Rosamond, is on holiday leave, and has been lelicved by Captain F. Edge, of the Karu. Telegraphic advice from Auckland stales that tho Monowai left that port at 7.5 p.m. on Saturday for Wellington. Passengers in the saloon for Wellington are: Misses Webster, Wright, Kidd (2), Mesdames Hewitt, Kreutzer, Messrs. Mason. Ladbrook, Thompson, Kidd, Meyers, and Oxley. The vessel is- due hero this afternoon, and will sail to-morrow at's p.m. for Lyttelton and Dunedin. The barque Dee, which has been pested as missing while on the voyage from Mauritius to Bunbury, is an iron vessel of 1169 tons gross register. She was built in. 1885 by Messrs. Russell and Co., at Port Glasgow, and was owned by Lo Nouveau Chantier, Ltd., her port of registry being Port Louis. Mauritius. Tho vessel's principal dimensions are:—Length 215 ft. 2in., breadth 35ft. lin., and depth 21ft. 2in.
