The Prime Minister has' received the following telegram from the High Commissioner for New Zealand:—"Hemp Controller now advises that it is proposed to fix maximum price of New Zealand hemp at ±1 per ton higher than figures before mentioned. Tow.—Fixed Driers as follow: No. 1, £59 per ton; No. 2, £56 per ton; No. 3; £54 per ton." Messrs. Levin and Co. have received cable advice from London that the Imperial Government has fixed the maximum prices at which New Zealand hemp can be sold in London, as follow:—Good fair, £84 per ton; high fair, £82 per ton; low .fair, £81 per ton.
