By Telesraph—Press Association. Auckland, September 20. At the Police Court to-day Charles A. Christini, a railway porter, w?s charged with stealing a caso of jam, a bag of flour,.and a box of candles; Archibald .1. Corkin, a porter, was charged with stealing a case of jam and a box of candles, and Albert E. Harley, a casual labourer, was charged with receiving a case of jam. The articles were taken from a railway goods shed. The Magistrate said Christini and Corkin had. been apparently led by others, and he ordered them to be put oil probation for three years. Harley had been tempted by the two other accused, and was admitted to probatiou for a" year. Bach of the accused was ordered to make restitution.
