The demand for sheep was keen, and good prioes were realised. Cattle, of -whioh the entry -was only o£ medium quality. Bold at late sales' rates. At I'ahiatua, on Tuesday, we offered about 7M shcop and a /air number of cattlo. Our sheep entrj' consisted principally of medium hoggets, and although fair prices wero offered in most casos they failed to ren-ch. owners' reserves. In cattlo we yarded some good lines of bullooks and steers. Tho following sales wero effected: 31 cull hoggets, 145..
