Abraham arid Williams, Ltd., report:—Ai Palmcrstou North, on Thursday, an average yarding of stock was submitted to a pood attendance of buyera. There was a fairly good demand, and lato rates were fully maintained. , Pat hoggets brought 325. 4d.; cood mixed hofrgest, 295. At-FcUding, on Friday, both sheep and cattle came forward in fairly large numbers. The sale . was well attended, and there was spirited competition for all classes of stock. Sheep were in good demand, and wo had a total clearance, prices showing a marked improvement, fitoro and fat cattlo also sold well, prices being liigher than at late sales. There Yvas also a good inquiry for dairy stock, whicli brought full values.
