September 3, 8.5 p.m.) Copenhagen, September 2. Survivors froiu tho German minesweepers, which were destroyed in the fight off Jutland last week state that the trawlers were carrying great quantities of food for submarines, „when they suddenly discovered that they wore surrounded by British wasships. Their only escape was to Danish waters.' The British fired fifteen hundred rounds. Two German ■submarines and two seaplanes participated in the. action. Napier, September 3. , Probato of the last will and two codicils of the late George Prior Donnelly, of "Otatara," Ttoadale, sheeprfarmer, was granted yesterday by the Chief Justice to three of the executors (Messrs. Henry Valentino Horfdley, Alexander Bulwer Campbell, and Hutton Ewan Troutbeck), lenve being reserved to grant like probate to Mr. James 'Hugh Buchanan Coates, the remaining exeeutor, if he should apply for it. By combined operation of the will and codicils, the following dispositions were made of the property of the testator:—To his daughter, Maud Airnu Tiakitai La Morte, the "Otatara" free, hold, the estate • situate m laradale (being the pVoperty purchased from the late Mr. Henry. Williams); to his sister, Marie Hoadley, .£10,000; to his sister, Hannah Donnelly, an annuity of .£230 j to his sistor Nannie Shaw, an annuity of ,£250; to his niece. Maud Mary Lansdowne Shaw, an annuity of to his nephew. Henry Valentino Hoadley, J315.00; to his nephew, Guy Lansdowne Shaiv, .£IO,OOO, to bo applied in reduction of the testator's guarantee for the "Ngatamatoa" estate; to his nephew Frank Beresford Donnelly, .£5000; to his nephew Claudo Donnelly, .85000; to Dr. Ross, formerly of Waipawa. X 2000; to his old and valued friend James Hugh Buchanan Coatee, an annuity of *£500, and after his death the same annuity to his sister Lavinia Coates; to Patrick Donnelly, son of the said Frank Boresford Donnelly, on his attaining 21 yotire, ,£1000; to his brother Barn- Langley Donnelly, an. annuity of £200; to his friend James M'Pherson M'Lean. to his friend Wilhelw .Tolin Strafcton, JCCOOO. and an annuitv of .£250; to his friend Alexander Bulwer Campbell, j;i000, and 1 por cent, on the not value of the estate for death duty purposes j to his friend Thomas Victor Morrin, .£5000; to his daughter Maud Airini Tiakitai La Morte, the testator s stud thoroughbred horse business, and all the horses and other properties and appnrienances thereof. All the residue of tho cstato is given to threo grandchildren, Derek Churchill Prior Perry, ' Nellie Airini Elizabeth - Perry, and ' Moori Francis Churchill Perry, in equal ' shares as a class if and when they respectively attain 21 years, or, boing fomalo, marry, subject to payment of income of one-fourth part to Maud Airini Tiakitai La Morte during hor life.
