ADVANCE OP HALF A MILE ON A MILE OF FRONT ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL COUP BY THE FRENCH ITALIANS ATTACK NEW DEFEATED ENEMY HOTLY PURSUED A now attack by tbo British at Hargkourt has resulted in a gain of half a mile on a mile of front. On the French front fresh operations have "been successfully carried out, all the objectives being achieved. On the Italian front the enemy, baring been defeated at Monte Santo, took up a new defensive line. The Italians, following up their successes, are attacking the eastern border of the Bainisizza Plateau and hotly pursuing the enemy. The totnl number of prisoners to date now stands at 23,(500. According to unofficial dispatches, the Austrian defences on ?6 miles of front are crumbling.. On the Russian front there nee no developments. M. Kerensky, in officially opening the great conference at Moscow, has made it clear to the delegates that the- Government must be supreme, and that there is a limit to its tolerance. Agitators and political mischief-makers are warned that reprisals for any demonstration Ihey may make against the Government will be in the shape of a return to the repressive methods of Tsarism.
