London, Juno 21. Tlio Misses E. J. Child, N.Z.A.N.S'., of Nelson, and M. Mills, N.Z.A.N.S., of Lyttelton, are at j the Queen Mc.ry's Hostel for Nurses. Mr. D. Glennie, of' Wellington, is on a visit to his mother. He has three 60ns at the front, one of whom hss teen seriously wounded; and is possibly returning to New Zealand. Mr. and Mrs. ,T. B. Dowriie, of Auckland, have recently arrived in England, via America and Canada, where they spent 6ix weeks. After paying vjslte in Scotland and the South of England, Mrs. Downio will take up war work in Icndon. Mrs. J. A. Macdonell, of Hastings, arrived in England via tho Panama Canal early in the year to join her husband, Lieutenant-Colonel Macdonell, who was then on duty at the New Zealand Hospital at Walton-on-Thames, but has since roturned to New Zealand. Mi's. Macdonell has just roturned from Cornwall, and is at present stayipg with her niece, Mr,?. Norman Holden, 'at G Green Street, Park Lane. She will go to Scotland in August, and hopes to roturn to. New Zealand via America about the end of the year. A party of American. nurses paid a visit to tho New Zealand Military Ifospital at Walton-on-Thames on June 7. They were received by Colonel Thomas Mill, tho 0.C.. and Mis 3 Thurston, the matron-in-chicf, N.Z.A.N.S., who introduced them to tho New Zealanders present, the High Commissioner, Sir Thomas Mackenzie, Colonel Parkes, Colonel Myers, Colonel Acland, Colonel Wylie, Colonel Tewsley, Colonol Fenwick, Mrs. Knight, whoso houso in Brighton has been given over for the use of convalescent New Zealand officers. Miss Wilson, matron of Mt. Felix, and a number of nurses and Y.A.D.'s both of Walton and Oatlands.
