As the Anchor Company's si earner Kennedy has been delayed by bad weather at Picton, the Waimea will arrive to-day in place of the former vessel, and sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Nelson and West Coast. The Alexander is to arrive here on Tuesday and sail the Bame day for the Coast. THE BREEZE. The Canterbury Company's steamer Breeze is due here to-day from southern ports. She is to sail this evening for Wanganui, returning on Sunday and sailing on Monday for Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin. Mr. L. H. Uuehes has been enjaeed as third mate on the Waipori in place of Mr. W. E. Barnes.

Nelson and Wellington. . The Northern Company's 6teamcr Barawa was bar-bound «i O.nehunga. yesterday, and \p ronseoueflce will leave for New Plymouth at 10 o'clock this morning. She will leave New Plymouth on Saturday night- for Onehunea, and from there will sail on Monday for Auckland for her annual overhaul. The Bimu will be engaged in the service until September 10, when the Barawa, resumes.
