NAVAL AND MILITARY ENTERTAINMENT
In order lo provide funds for eupnlyine comforts to New Zealand soUliera iu hospitals in England and .elsewhere, the, St. John Ambulance Brigade has organised a naval and military entertainment to be held in the Town Hall to-night. The cause is a good one, and should attract, a la.j;Be audience, even apart from the quality of the entertainment. The concert promised should be an excellent oue. The Trentham Camp Bund and the Wellington I'atrio.ic Society's Band will be inatteudaucc, and a number of popular performers hiive promised their services.- Anion: thesi; arc: Mr. • Hamilton Hodges, Scrgeant-.Uajor F. Jty permission of Hie Fuller management, Signor. Antonio Molinan and Signoru llolinari, now appearing at His Majesty's Theatre, will also assist with excerpts from grand opera. - During the interval Lieutenant-Colonel .1. 0. Hushes, D.5.0., C.M.G:, will dispose of several valuable articles.
