THE AGE LIMIT
(To the Editor.) Sir,—l see in the paper to-day Mr. Witty practically refers to 19-year-t old youths as kids. I object to this, aa many o'ther 19-ycar-olds will do. I am sure'man? of us would "be only too willing to go, and in many cases stick it as, well ns the men of 20 and over. Hoping: that this will meet with your favour, and, thankins you in anticipation.—l am, etc.,' NINETEEN. ) Sir—l have carefully followed tha corroepondence in your paper on tie advisability of reducing the ago limit, and would like to suggest that the Govern-,-ment reduce the age to 18 for voluntaryreoruits only. Make the medical tesb very strict, and if considered advisable give us a month or two longer training:. I am sure that on these lines we wouldprove ourselves equal to most drafts now going away. Thanking you for space.—< I am, etc., g CHA]S , CE _
