SHORT-WRIGHT ALLOWANCE INCREASED. , (Rec. July 29, 5.5 p.m.) London, July .28. The Board'of Trade has decided tojnjrease the short-weight allowance on New Zealand cheese to 6 per cent.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Sheet steel is becoming scarcer and scarcer, and since it is used in the manufacture of the famous Victor Vat, . the makers are dubious as to whether the season's orders can lie filled.
