Tho following appointments in tho newly-created New Zealand Army Ordnanco Department and Army Pay Department have been approved, with effect from April 1, 1917:— Directing Stalf. Lieutenant (temp. Crptain) Hon. Major . T. M'Cristell to be director of equipment and ordnance stores graded ordnauco officer, first class, with tho rank of major. Lieutenant (temp. Captain) T. J. King to be assistant director of equipment and ordnance stores, graded ordnance officer, second class, with the rank of captain. Hon. Captain A. R C. White to be graded ordnance officer, third class, with the rank of captain. Hon. Lieutenant F. E. Ford to bo graded ordnance officer, third class, with tho rank of captain. Hon. Captain W. T. Beck, D.5.0., to be graded ordnance officer, fourth class, with the rank of lieutenant, and retains the hon. rank .of captain (temp.) whilst performing thoXSuties of ordnanco officer, third class. Hon. Captain 0. F. M'Guigan to be graded ordnance officer, fourth class, with tho rank of lieutenant, and retains tho lion, rank of captain (temp.) whilst performing the duties of ordnanco officer, third class. Hon. Lieut, (temp.) L. F. M'Nair to bo graded ordnance officer, fourth class, with the rank-of lieutenant. Hon. Lieutenant (temp.) A. W. Baldwin to bo graded ordnance officer, fourth class, with the rank of lieutenant. Inspectorial Staff. Hon. Captain and Quartermaster R. G. V. Parker to be graded ordnanco officer, third class, with the rank of captain, •■and is appointed inspector of ordnanco machinery. Hon. Lieutenant and Quartermaster G. J. Parrell to be graded ordnance officer, third class, with the rank of captain, and is appointed the inspector engineer, electric light and defence vessel ttorcs. Army Pay Department. Henry M. Griffon to be Director of Financial Services, with the rank of major. Joseph B. Ryan to bo accountant, with the rank of captain. Captain S. M'K. M'Gce, V.D., Retired List, to bo a Command Paymaster, with tho rank of captain. Captain S. V. Trask, Reserve of Officers, to bo a Command Paymaster, with the rank of captain. Hon. Captain D. G. G. Hunter, to be a Command Paymaster with tho rank of captain. . Hon. Lieutenant ttemp.) D. Smith ceases to be- attached to tho N.Z.SX., and i* attlached temporarily to the N.Z. Army Pay Department, whilst acting as a Command Paymaster.
