A Rumanian communique says: "On July 26 tto advanced twelve kilometres (71 miles) beyond our old front, and occupied all our objectives, including ten villages. We captured many guns and m uch material. The enemy is retiring In disorder.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Aesn.-Eeuter. AUSTR-GERMANS UNABLE TO MOVE THEIR BATTERIES. (Rec. July 29, 5.5 p.m.) . Petrograd, July 28. The offensive on the Rumanian front, under Generals Eogeza and Averescu, is developing successfully. The Austro-German forces are retiring disorganised to the wooded mountainous regions. General Eogeza captured 19 guns, and General Averescu took 20 guns. The Russian, infantry's attacks were so precipitate that the Austro-Germans could not remove their batteries behind the firpt lines.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. ,
