STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR

CAMP OFFICER INJURED.

On tho last day of the Trcnthamraces. Lieutenant Renton, of the Camp Dental Staff, was crossing the road outside tno camp when he was, struck and knocked down by a motor-car. Although the officer vcas rendered unconscious, and had his ankle broken, the motor-car, it is stated, did not stop. Tho injured officer was at once taken to the camp hospital, where lie is making satisfactory progress. The number of tho car which knocked him down was taken, and the matter has been placed in tho liands of the police by the camp military authorities.
