SOLDIERS' WIDOWS
NSW. GOVERNMENT PROVIDES HOMES. It is not generally known that the New South Wales State. Government is providing soldiers' widows with homes free of rent. Up to date 291- of these homes have heen made, available by the Lands Department, at a cost of about ,£IO.OOO. "There is no limit' to the number of homes to be provided," said Mr. AshI'ortl yesterday in reply to a question. "Every widow who has no home and wants' one will set one. Some are built ljv the Government, and others are rented. They are provided in any centre in the State." ..
